Italian Baja 2000

There are only three, but of great depth

There are only three, but of great depth. The "made in Russia" Kamaz are overwhelmed, inflicting an abysmal detachment on Miki Biasion's Iveco. Vladimir Tchaguine and Firdaous Kabirov (first and second respectively) simply enchanted the audience with their powerful "bison", garnering a real ovation in the final "catwalk" of Bibione.

Among the splendid victory cars of Franco Germanetti sailed by Philippe Rey, regulating the Argentine brothers Luis and Jorge Perez and the French Strugo-Larroque. Historic victory for the Italian driver: first at the finish line in the “Italian Baja”, but above all the first Italian driver to win a round of the FIA Rallyes Tout Terrain World Cup.

Among the motorcycles, Fabio Farioli obtained a splendid encore, relegating the "Dakarian" Fabrizio Meoni and Giovanni Sala to the places of honor, all riding the powerful KTM.
