The revolution in the course will not in the least affect the charm of the Italian Baja, which will remain a highly competitive and exciting race. Even on the front of the members things are going well: the participation of the 'legendary' Edi Orioli, navigated by Pascal Rosolen, who will be at the wheel of the Isuzu D-Max prototype, with which he has been chasing for a couple of seasons even the primacy of the Paris-Dakar.

Furthermore, the presence of two Fornasari rally Raid 450 cars is guaranteed, one entrusted to Mario Ricci and one driven by the same manufacturer Giuseppe Fornasari. The list of car competitors thus exceeded 40, while quad bikes reached the record figure, for the Italian Baja, of 26 units.

"I'm sorry for Vivaro - underlines Mauro Tavella referring to the change in the track - who has always supported our sporting activity, becoming a kind of off-road citadel. But I am convinced that from the fans' point of view it will be easier and more enjoyable to follow the race in the countryside of Aviano and Montereale. We have already committed ourselves with the utmost seriousness to guaranteeing the restoration works after the passage of vehicles. And the race will be of the highest level".
