No holidays for the Fuoristrada Club 4x4 Pordenone which is planning the World race with the enthusiasm of a restart
Pordenone, 4th August 2021_It seems to be just a distant memory but it was only two years ago when the Argentinian Orlando Terranova won the Italian Baja 2019 ahead on the Russian Vladimir Vasilyev and the Czecho Martin Prokop.
Fortunately the Artugna Race in March interrupted the abstinence, giving new life to the Fuoristrada Club 4x4 Pordenone.
No holidays in August, just hard work with a special enthusiasm to organize the World Cup Fia Bajas 2021, planned from 9th to 11th September, what we definitely needed to restart with the right food, pushing on the gas to recover the lost ground. The new location offered by the Pordenone Freight Village, which represents a window on the World as for the commercial traffic in the whole region, is ready to welcome the crews coming from all continents to face the challenge on the Meduna, Cosa and Tagliamento riverbeds, a lush wonder close to towns.

The World Cup rankings is now led by two pilots from Saudi Arabia, Yasir Seaidan ahead on Yazeed Al Rajhi, third position for the Dutch Erik Van Loon. The Hungarian Baja on the weekend, then the Baja Poland at the end of the month can change the classification before the Italian Baja and mix things as for the official and private teams.
In the lead of the Italian Championship of Cross Country Rally the driver from Bologna Sergio Galletti (Toyota Hilux Overdrive), winner of the Artugna Race, while the previous champion Elvis Borsoi (Can Am Maverick) is the surprise leader of the Ssv. Confirmed the awaited return in Pordenone of the Spanish Carlos Checa, protagonist in March and already favorite by all passionate of this sport.
